where are my manners? Please, let me introduce myself:

I am Jonathan Penn, a creative designer for both web and print. I love building ideas, websites and brands. Oh and I am a folk festival lover too!

I am a confident and versatile creative from Derby and I love everything that is design! I have been working with logos, leaflets, brochures, advertising and websites since starting out at Nero Design in Essex some 14 years ago!

I strongly believe that every piece of work I take on, no matter how large or small should be treated as my greatest, most creative work.

After learning a thing or two about design at Nero Design I moved to Derby with my wife Sian to start a new adventure in the Midlands. I landed a fantastic role at Bemrose Booth which made me really appreciate that design had to be functional as well as looking great too. Since then I have worked as a Design Manager for Derby Homes and was head hunted to head up a new design company, kdesign.

After the success of kdesign part of a national network of design agencies I was invited to assist with the launch of a design agency in September 2008. The company was a finalist for Most Promising New Business 2010, I was instrumental in the company's rapid growth in the role of Creative Director.

I now work as a Independent Creative helping businesses achieve their goals through strategic and well thoughtout design. One of my largest clients is VOICE UK, a national charity promoting justice for vulnerable victims of abuse.
